Betting Advices for Safe Online Gaming

Here are the best gambling advices for playing it safe online that I usually apply for myself:

  1. Make Up a Secret Name: you should use a nickname or invent one that does not reveal who you are. Do not call yourself "Kelly_Johnson_LA", try something like "Super_Girl" or "#1_Poker_Fan." Your personal information should remain confidential in order to avoid serious problems in the future.

  2. Be Careful When You Chat: keep your real name, age, or phone number as private information and do not tell anyone where you live. There is plenty to talk about without answering those kinds of questions. If you think you know the person asking you the question, tell him you will talk about it next time.

  3. Block The Jerks: if you play against other people and they get out of hand, tell them to stop. If they refuse, block them if you can. You can also tell the game operator about them and no one will know it was you who told. Look at it this way: you are probably doing everyone in the game a big favor by getting rid of the jerk.

  4. Report the Big Jerks: if someone really makes you feel uncomfortable, take a minute and write down some notes about the person. Make sure you spell their gamer tag exactly as they spell it. Also, jot down the date and time, others who were in the chat, and how many times you told them to stop. Make sure the game operators know.

  5. Never Give Out Your Credit Card Information: no one needs to know the credit card number you use to pay for the game. If the people who run the poker site did not have it, you would not be playing.

These items are the alphabet of smart online gaming procedure, and if you follow these general tips, you will only gain in the long run.
